Pumas name Pichot to face Boks

Agustin Pichot has been included in Argentina`s 34-man preliminary squad ahead of next month`s Test match against world champions South Africa.

Racing Metro scrum-half Pichot has not played for the Pumas since the last year's World Cup, where Argentina finished third. 

Coach Santiago Phelan has also included Juan Martin Hernandez, who on Wednesday was operated on after he fractured his right hand in last week's 13-12 defeat to Italy.

The fly-half is therefore unlikely to feature on August 9 at Ellis Park, Johannesburg, in a match to celebrate former South Africa president Nelson Mandela`s 90th birthday.

Phelan will finalise a 26-man squad on July 30.
