De Villiers expects Lions to have bite
South Africa coach Peter de Villiers believes the appointment of Ian McGeechan as the British and Irish Lions coach makes the task of winning next year's home Test series all the more difficult for his team.
Wasps director of rugby McGeechan was unveiled as the head coach for a fourth time in London on Wednesday.
"McGeechan's appointment makes them very dangerous," de Villiers told Die Burger. "He has enjoyed success in South Africa, as player and as coach. He knows the conditions. I am not surprised at all."
