Huddersfield's England hooker Scott Moore spoke of his "stupidity" after revealing he will miss Saturday's engage Super League play-off at St Helens because of an internal suspension.

Both Moore, who is on a season-long loan from St Helens, and prop forward Keith Mason were dropped for Sunday's League match against Wigan pending a disciplinary investigation.

There has been no official comment from the club but the suspensions are believed to relate to the players missing a training session.

Moore, who made his England debut in the 66-12 win over France in June, lifted the lid on his punishment at an unveiling of the 2009 Super League Dream Team in which he is one of eight newcomers.

"I don't know if it's official but I have been banned," he said. "I've got another game yet. There's talk of a fine too. I'm not too sure. I've got a meeting with the board."

Moore revealed he and Mason have both apologised for their actions to their team-mates and the club's board of directors and accepted their punishment.

"I'm gutted at myself more than anything," added Moore, who is due to return to St Helens at the end of the season.

"I'm stupid for what I did. I can't do anything about it now. I've just got to train hard and hope the boys can do a job at the weekend.

"I've no complaints. It's all on me really. They've got to do something about it. They can't let things slide. It's mine and Mase's fault.

"It's put to bed now. Hopefully I can get back in the team the week after and kick on and get to the Grand Final. Hopefully I can pay them back, I feel I owe them something."
