John Gosden will once again have the services of Santa Anita specialist Frankie Dettori for some of his leading chances at the Breeders' Cup this weekend.

Gosden and Dettori teamed up to brilliant effect at last year's meeting, with Donativum landing the Juvenile Turf and Raven's Pass taking the Classic.

This year Dettori will get the leg-up on Dar Re Mi, who will take on the colts in the Turf, as well as Pounced, who bids to give the trainer a second successive Juvenile Turf win.

"The horses have travelled very well," he said. "They have been out on the track and I'm happy with them.

"Julien Leparoux rode Rainbow View in Canada and will ride her again in the Ladies' Classic, and Frankie Dettori will be on the other two. Frankie is highly experienced riding here.

"He cut his teeth here, has ridden in 60-odd Breeders' Cup races and has had numerous winners, whereas (stable jockey) Jimmy Fortune has no experience of American tracks. Frankie knows the track like the back of his hand and was available."

Rainbow View arrives on the back of a fine second in the EP Taylor Stakes and Gosden feels she is in peak condition ahead of a bid for another Group One success.

"Rainbow View pleased me with the way she moved on the track," the trainer continued. Her owner George Strawbridge has a horse in the Filly & Mare Turf that won the race last year (Forever Together), so the Ladies' Classic was the obvious race to go for."

Gosden feels the trip of the Breeders' Cup Turf will suit Dar Re Mi much better than the fillies' race.

"Dar Re Mi ran a great race in the Arc to finish fifth," Gosden added. "It's a very fast mile and a half here as they run downhill early and the ground will be firm. The mile-and-a-quarter track rides like a nine-furlong race."
