We can keep stars - Moxey

Wolves chief executive Jez Moxey insists the club will hang on to their prized assets this summer.

The likes of Wayne Hennessey, Michael Kightly and Sylvan Ebanks-Blake have all been linked with close-season moves to Barclays Premier League clubs following Wanderers' failure to reach the play-offs, but Moxey fully expects all of them to be lining up at Molineux come August.

"I don't think it's going to be difficult to keep our players at all," he said.

"Our position is very clear and Steve Morgan has already spoken about his desire to keep the nucleus of this team because we're trying to build something very special.

"We think we've got something very special going and rumours that clubs are watching players such as Michael, Wayne, Sylvan and others are good because they are good players.

"They are all contracted here, we've got a new owner, we've got lots of investment and we're building something special. But we're not going to achieve what we want by losing those players. So, absolutely, they will be here next season."
