Boss anticipating busy summer

Wolves boss Mick McCarthy has admitted there will be changes to the playing staff at Molineux next season.

He spoke out after seeing his side miss out on the play-offs by just two goals even though they did what was needed by beating Plymouth 1-0 thanks to an 87th-minute strike from Seyi Olofinjana.

The result was not enough to secure them a play-off spot after Crystal Palace emphatically beat Burnley at Selhurst Park 5-0 to secure the final place.

But McCarthy insisted he had no regrets over the current campaign and said: "I have done everything I possibly could. There will be changes. Players come, players go.

"In my own head the nucleus of the players will be staying. I think there is a lot of them new into their careers at this level."

"I don't go home and regret things. If I could have done something better or different in my opinion or changed something then I would have done.
