Scunthorpe winger Ian Morris has been named in the latest Republic of Ireland Under-21s squad.

Don Givens' young Irish squad are competing in the Intercontinental Cup in Malaysia later this month.

They face Iraq on May 15, hosts Malaysia two days later and Nigeria on May 19.

Morris, who joined the Iron from Leeds in the summer of 2006, missed the first three months of the season due to knee ligament damage.

But the 21-year-old won his place back in Nigel Adkins' starting line-up in mid-December and has been a virtual ever-present since.
