Redknapp: We'll fight till the end

Portsmouth boss Harry Redknapp promised the Premier League's relegation candidates that his side would be giving no quarter as Fulham attempt to complete their great escape at Fratton Park next weekend.

Redknapp clarified his stance after watching a woeful Pompey outfit slump to a disappointing 2-0 defeat to Middlesbrough at the Riverside Stadium.

He said: "I wouldn't disrespect the other managers who are in a relegation battle by picking a very, very, very weak team. I wouldn't do that. I wouldn't want somebody to do it to me, so I wouldn't do it to them.

"It's happened in the past, but I think it's disrespectful."
