Mills boost for Rovers

Doncaster have confirmed that record signing Matt Mills has not broken his jaw and has returned to full training.

The 22-year-old was stretchered off early in the second half at QPR on Saturday and there were fears he could be out for a number of months.

Mills' recovery is good news for manager Sean O'Driscoll but he still faces defensive problems as Sean McDaid and Gordon Greer are unlikely to be fit.

The duo are on the road to recovery from knee and hip injuries respectively.

Meanwhile, young winger Craig Nelthorpe has joined Blue Square North side Gateshead on loan, while first-year professional Andrew Boyce has linked up with Worksop Town.
