Derby make Todd available

Derby defender Andy Todd has been told he is free to find another club as boss Paul Jewell begins shaping his squad for life in the Coca-Cola Championship.

The 33-year-old, who has made 23 appearances for the relegated Rams this season, has a year remaining on his contract but has been informed he is surplus to requirements at Pride Park.

Jewell said: "I've spoken to Toddy, he is a good pro but we're looking to change things around and if he can find a suitable home and it's suitable for us then we will allow him to leave on a free transfer.

"There's no fall out or anything like that. Hopefully we can get him sorted out quickly because he is a good player."
