Warnock hails away form

Crystal Palace boss Neil Warnock believes his side's excellent away form should stand them in good stead for their Championship play-off semi-final against Bristol City.

The Eagles conceded the fewest goals away from home in the Championship and entertain the Robins in the first leg on Saturday before heading to Ashton Gate next Tuesday.

Warnock insists the players will go into the game in confident mood, but paid tribute to the achievements of Bristol City boss Gary Johnson.

"It should be two cracking games because Gary's team have had an excellent season and he's got to be close to manager of the year himself," said Warnock.

"I think our record is one of the best in the league away from goals and we will need to be careful in the first leg.

"It's now up to us to go and win the games."
