Dave Jones admits their is an air of disappointment around Ninian Park after his Cardiff side failed to make the Championship play-offs.

The Bluebirds ended their season on a high with a 3-0 victory against Barnsley on Sunday, courtesy of goals from Paul Parry, Kevin McNaughton and Joe Ledley and can now look forward to their big day at Wembley in the FA Cup final in two week's time.

But Jones said: "We are all disappointed that we haven't finished in the play-offs.

"We are growing as a club and there are good foundations here now."

The result left Jones' men 12th place in the Championship on 64 points, six points from a play-off place.
