Clarets will strengthen - Coyle

Burnley manager Owen Coyle has revealed he intends to bolster his squad with at least five new signings.

David Unsworth, Brian Jensen, James O'Connor, Jon Harley and Jay Rodriguez have all been offered new deals but Coyle is determined to draft in new faces regardless.

Coyle is remaining tight-lipped about his wanted list, but said that two of his targets would command a transfer fee.

"The ones we're targeting are not just Bosmans, a couple of them will have transfer fees," he told the Lancashire Telegraph.

"Obviously that will involve talks and negotiations with their respective clubs as well.

"We will not get them all, but ideally, we would love to get a percentage."
