Moore: Incident is over

Barnsley defender Darren Moore expects Monday night's South Yorkshire derby with Sheffield United to be another great battle but assures fans both clubs have "moved on" from the controversy that surrounded last year's clash.

A collision between Chris Morgan and Tykes striker Iain Hume left the Canada international in intensive care with a fractured skull in last season's tie at Oakwell.

Morgan will miss the opportunity to play against Hume on Monday for the first time since the incident happened, due to suspension.

Moore says the clash has been "dealt with" and is "in the past", and the Reds' only focus is getting a result against the Blades, to make it their first since 2001, despite the squad being plagued by a number of absentees.

"It's a great game for both clubs. We've had some good battles over the years and I envisage the same for Monday," said Moore.
