Davey faces Nardiello dilemma

Barnsley manager Simon Davey will tell Daniel Nardiello whether he has a future at Oakwell by the end of the week.

Nardiello has been on loan at Barnsley since January after quitting the Tykes last summer in favour of a move to QPR.

The 25-year-old found first-team starts hard to come by at Loftus Road and jumped at the chance of a return to the club at the turn of the year.

Nardiello is still under contract at QPR, but the managerless Hoops are unlikely to stand in the way of a move if Davey decides to make the former Manchester United prospect's move permanent.

Nardiello has made 12 appearances for the Tykes since his return, scoring one goal.
